There's a lot to love about the Monterey Bay area. Sun, sand, sea otters, and golfing's favorite beach: Pebble. There's the awesome views and the Aquarium. Killer jazz and maybe even a glimpse of Dirty Harry.
     It's a slice of paradise for those of us in the restaurant business, too.
     With nearby wineries that rival Napa's finest, second-to-none seafood, a thriving community of artisan butchers, bakers, and hand-crafted cheese makers, plus proximity to "America's Salad Bowl", often our biggest challenge is keeping the menu under 30 pages long.
     We've really enjoyed LALLApalooza's 12-plus years in Downtown Monterey, and we're gearing up for another decade or two of exceeding expectations and delighting billions and billions of tastebuds along the way.

And so, to keep things fresh and interesting, we've made a couple of pretty big changes recently. Wait, wait -- don't worry -- we're still serving The Bay's best martinis. What's different is that we've seriously upped the ante on our steaks. Everything about them is new and unique and a whole lot better, from the custom cuts to the cooking method.
     For example, we're now offering a super-premium level of steaks that are Dry Aged -- the tried and true, old-school method of concentrating a steak's flavor -- but we're doing it in a way seldom seen anymore. You can read the whole story here.
